The whole range of Podere San Bartolomeo bakery products comes from the hands of the pastry chefs of La Fabbrica del Panforte of Siena and from the best raw materials of our company: the organic flours, obtained by stone grinding the most precious varieties of Ancient Grains of our Peninsula, and our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, cultivated in our farm.
Ancient grains are natural varieties of the past. Unlike modern grains, genetically modified in the laboratory for a higher production yield, they contain less gluten and are therefore lighter and easier to digest. And they are also better, because they maintain different smells and flavors, typical of their natural biodiversity.
Made with love and excellent raw materials, Podere San Bartolomeo biscuits do not contain palm oil, refined flours, lard, butter or margarine . And that's why they are so good!

Podere San Bartolomeo's Chocolate Chip Cookies are handcrafted with Timilia ancient wheat organic flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil grown in our farm.
With a characteristic dark color, cooked in the oven and rich in fiber, minerals and vitamins, they are a sweet and healthy breakfast designed for those who love to combine the classic and delicious taste of dark chocolate drops with the delicate flavor, similar to that of spelled, wheat Timilia.
Timilia is an ancient autochthonous variety of durum wheat (scientific name, Triticum durum), from which a low gluten flour is obtained, which makes these biscuits particularly digestible.
Podere San Bartolomeo's Lemon Biscuits are handcrafted with Timilia ancient wheat organic flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil grown in our farm.

ALMOND CANTUCCINI
The Cantuccini with Almonds from Podere San Bartolomeo are handcrafted according to the traditional Tuscan recipe, with ancient wheat organic flour of the Verna variety and Extra Virgin Olive Oil grown in our farm.
Made more crisp and crumbly by the presence of oil, they have the dark color typical of Verna flour, an ancient variety of Tuscan soft wheat with a reduced gluten content. The ancient flavor of this cereal embraces that of almonds and is sweetened by honey, so as to make our Cantuccini not a simple biscuit, but a great classic of dry pastries, to be enjoyed at the end of the meal, natural or drenched in Vin Santo.
